Digitální dílna
Building a digital agency that helped freelancers and small businesses take their first steps online.
- Role
- Project CEO
- Period
- 2019 · approximately four months
- Outcome
- In approximately four months, we built the agency from scratch, launched its service offering and ordering application, and secured our first client projects.
01 / Context
Digitální dílna was created by Creative Dock in partnership with Komerční banka and Visa. Its purpose was to help freelancers and small businesses take practical first steps online through accessible digital services.
This was not just a website or application project. In a short period, we had to create an operating business: the service proposition, economic model, team, legal setup, marketing, ordering journey and the process for delivering the services themselves.
02 / My role
What I owned
As Project CEO, I was responsible for taking the initiative from product vision to launch. I owned the P&L, team setup, product strategy and MVP scope, and coordinated marketing, copywriting, legal work and the creation of a legal entity. The work also included delivering the website and an application for ordering services.
- I translated the product vision into a strategy, MVP scope and actionable launch plan.
- I owned the project P&L and scoped the internal and external team.
- I coordinated marketing, copywriting, legal work and the other partners needed to establish the agency.
- I led the creation of the legal entity and the initial operating model.
- I directed the delivery of the website and service-ordering application.
- I took the project from initial concept to launch in approximately four months.
03 / Outcome
In approximately four months, we built the agency from scratch, launched its service offering and ordering application, and secured our first client projects.
The project showed that in venture building, the digital product is only one part of the outcome. The economics, operations, legal framework, marketing and service delivery model are equally important.
